Four Children Survive 40 Days in Amazon Jungle After Plane Crash
Lost and Alone
Four Colombian children have miraculously survived 40 days in the Amazon jungle after their small plane crashed. The children, aged between 12 and 17, were passengers on a flight from San José del Guaviare to Florencia when their plane went down on February 28th.
Hardship and Endurance
The children endured unimaginable hardships during their time in the jungle, including hunger, thirst, and exposure to the elements. They survived by eating fruits, nuts, and insects, and drinking rainwater. They also built a shelter to protect themselves from the harsh weather.
Search and Rescue
A massive search and rescue operation was launched after the plane went missing, but the children were not found until April 10th. They were spotted by a helicopter crew and were airlifted to a hospital in Florencia. The children are now in stable condition, but they are still receiving treatment for their injuries.
