Brazil’s Gabriel Jesus scores winning goal against Tunisia
Brazil beat Tunisia 4-1 in their final friendly match before the World Cup
Gabriel Jesus scored the winning goal as Brazil defeated Tunisia 4-1 in their final friendly match before the World Cup.
Jesus, who has been in impressive form for Arsenal this season, netted the decisive goal in the 90th minute to secure a morale-boosting victory for the Selecao.
Neymar had earlier given Brazil the lead with a stunning free-kick, before Raphinha doubled the advantage with a well-taken goal.
However, Tunisia pulled a goal back through Montassar Talbi, and looked to have earned a credible draw when the score was 2-1 going into the closing stages.
But Jesus had the final say in the match, tapping home from close range to seal a 4-1 victory for Brazil.
The match was played in front of a packed crowd at the Parc des Princes in Paris, and gave Brazil a chance to fine-tune their preparations for the World Cup in Qatar.
Brazil will open their World Cup campaign against Serbia on November 24, before facing Switzerland and Cameroon in Group G.
