Hertha BSC Loses 3-2 Against Karlsruher SC in a Tense Match

Dárdai Recognizes Fairness in Defeat

KSC Keeps Promotion Hopes Alive

Hertha BSC's head coach, Pál Dárdai, displayed sportsmanship in his comments following the team's narrow loss against Karlsruher SC.

Despite the 3-2 defeat, Hertha BSC gave a strong performance throughout the match. Dárdai named an unchanged starting XI from the one that had secured a draw against Hamburg the previous weekend.

Karlsruher SC, on the other hand, started the match with greater intensity. They took the lead in the 20th minute through a goal from striker Philipp Hofmann.

Hertha BSC equalized just before half-time through a penalty converted by Dodi Lukébakio. However, Karlsruher SC regained the lead early in the second half with a goal from defender Christoph Kobald.

Hertha BSC refused to give up and leveled the score once again through a header from Marton Dárdai. However, Karlsruher SC snatched a late winner in the 85th minute through a goal from substitute Malik Batmaz.

Despite the defeat, Dárdai acknowledged the fairness of the result. "Karlsruher SC deserved to win today," he said. "They fought hard and capitalized on their chances."

The victory keeps Karlsruher SC's promotion hopes alive. The club now sits third in the 2. Bundesliga table, just three points behind leaders FC St. Pauli.
