The Darkness announce new album "Dreams On Toast" and a tour

The Darkness have announced that their next album will be called 'Dreams On Toast'.

The follow-up to 2019's Easter Is Cancelled will be released on October 21 via Cooking Vinyl. A UK and European tour will follow in November and December.

Speaking about the album, frontman Justin Hawkins said: “I was brought up on a diet of prog rock, Queen, The Beatles and ELO, all those bands who were slightly unhinged and weren’t afraid to be theatrical, yet wrote beautiful songs.

The Darkness will embark on a UK and European tour in November and December.

The band will kick off their tour in Nottingham on November 14 and will play 11 dates in total, including stops in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Friday, July 15 at 9am.
